At Malpi International School, sports are an integral part of our education, and friendly football matches have always been an exciting highlight of the school calendar. As the captain of the school football team, I feel incredibly proud and fortunate to be a part of an institution that values both academics and athletics. The friendly matches we host and participate in are more than just games; they’re opportunities for us to grow as players and individuals.
Recently, we had the privilege of hosting two thrilling matches. Our Junior Team faced Siddhartha Vanasthali School, Panauti, and our Senior Team played against SOS, Kavre. Both matches were intense and gave us a platform to test our skills, teamwork, and strategies against strong competitors. These friendly matches were a learning experience, pushing us to refine our gameplay while enjoying the spirit of healthy competition.
Friendly football matches are not just about winning or losing—they help foster sportsmanship, build confidence, and teach us how to work together as a team. We learn to celebrate our victories and take our losses as motivation to improve. These matches allow us to connect with students from other schools, exchange ideas, and learn from each other, creating bonds that go beyond the football field.
Being part of Malpi International School’s football team is not just an honor, it’s a responsibility. Our school encourages us to develop not only as athletes but also as leaders and team players. Through sports, we learn valuable life lessons about discipline, commitment, and perseverance, which will benefit us in all aspects of life.
As a captain, I believe these friendly football matches are instrumental in shaping us into well-rounded individuals. They inspire us to continue striving for excellence, both on and off the field. I am grateful to be part of this journey, and I look forward to more exciting matches and opportunities for our team to grow.
Malpi International School’s dedication to sports truly makes it a unique place to learn, and I’m proud to call it my second home.
