Dashain-Tihar Break Notice 2017

23rd September 2017

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We are pleased to inform you that the Third Periodic Performance Evaluation has been completed. Kindly access the 3rd Periodic Performance Evaluations ‘Student Assessment Report’ (SAR) via personal emails on 24th September 2017 afternoon.  The Evaluation is based on the overall performance in academics, i.e. tests, quizzes, group work presentations, verbal interactions, etc. We are glad that there has been an overall progress in all our students. However, the academically weaker students are requested to devote some time in revising basic concepts of different subjects. They should also devote some time listening to news and watching educational programmes on T.V./radio. Besides, they should be assisting in the household chores and participating in social life. Kindly consult our School webpage (www.malpi.edu.np) for the Dashain-Tihar Break Assignments of the Students. The Assignments are based on use of Technology. Hence, students need to make use of technology to complete their assignments for which they will be credited in their upcoming evaluations.

Kindly find attached the confirmation letters for the Outdoor Education Programme (OEP) for Grades VII, VIII and IX. We encourage all students to participate in the OEP with the exception of Health reasons. We would like you to submit the Medical Consent Form as soon as possible if you have not done so earlier.

We hope to see our students rejuvenated after their Break. Extra clothing and tucks are not allowed as per the regulations of School.  All students should undergo medical checkup (eye/dentistry, etc.). The students need to have their hair cut/trimmed (no coloring). Further, the students are not allowed to bring money, jewellery, expensive branded clothing/shoes/gadgets, etc.

We would like to tap on the musical talents of our students. Many of them have displayed high skills and liking for music lessons. We would, therefore, request you to send an instrument of their interest with them after the Vacation for Grades VII, VIII and IX.  Grades IV, V and VI may bring Skateboards, Rollerblades, wave-board, etc.

Last but not the least, let me take this opportunity to wish everyone a very happy Dashain and Tihar Greetings on behalf of the entire Malpi family.
